Teacher Thanks

Ohhhh it's just to warm for work, there's not a breath of air on our office and I reckon my feet hit a thousand degrees today ;)  Hopefully the nice weather will continue though as I'm off work all next week Yippee!

I've been making a load of Teacher thank you cards this evening, but most of them are CASEd and this is the only one I can share.
I've used this beautiful apple stamp/die,  added hints of colour and lots of sparkle and then popped up on dimensionals.  Background watercoloured and then splattered with green and red paint.  Sequins and bling from stash.

I'd love to get a new alpha set - this one from Paper Smooches is a bit too big and I'd rather have 'normal' font lettering.  Any suggestions?

That apple stamp is so pretty! It is truly a focal point kind of image. If I were going to buy alpha stamps now, I'd go for the ones that snap together, like these: http://www.overstock.com/Crafts-Sewing/Mason-Row-Pegz-Orange-Plastic-Rubber-Stamps/11896988/product.html

I actually have several sets of alphabet stamps, but I rarely use them because I can never get them lined up properly.

Striking, bold and such fun watercolouring. The apple popped up for dimension works so fantastically and what a brilliant die-cut. On my wish list now me thinks! Thanks for sharing with us at AAA Cards this week. Sarah

Such a great card Lynne, a lovely stamp and die set and I think the size and font of the alphabet set look great. What are we up to next week then? I'm off too!! A spot of decorating for me, the kitchen needs a freshen up and I plan to make new curtains too xx

I love this die cut. Your card looks brilliant, the colours the loose bit of watercolouring, splash and flick all come together perfectly.
