Purple sympathy

Well the snow was a bit of a hoo-ha over not very much.  I know it was worse in other parts of the country, but I nearly laughed yesterday when my bus passed a snow plough (in full ploughing mode) with about half an inch of slush on the road.  Boys and their toys eh? ;)  Anyway, it's raining now, so hopefully it will be gone by morning.
ETA oops, just looked out the window and the place is white again!

Tonight's card is just a quickie based on this one I made earlier in the month, but this time in monochrome.  You wouldn't think it but I've used 4 different shades of purple here!  Clear gloss and sparkle added to the long grapey looking flowers whatever they are!

It looks great Lynne and so different in the purple shades, that's what always amazed me with rubber stamping, how the same stamp can change depending on the colour or technique...magic!! No snow for us, it's been so long that I really want to get some just so Bo and Bumby can play in it...and me, truth be told!! xx

Oh, so pretty! Love the sparkle on the grapey-looking flowers. We have about 6-8 inches of snow on the ground here, with more expected this weekend. And we're still 15" behind our usual amount. Oh the joy of living in Minnesota!!

Such a very pretty card Lynne and the delicate use of purple is wonderful. Maybe the clear, clean white space that we love to see at Less is More is a little lacking on this card, but it is a delight to see it. Great doodling! xx

A very pretty card for such a sad occasion. The purple works perfectly and a really lovely sentiment.
